A simple way to get your child interested in reading and writing is to leave them little notes. Make them appropriate for their reading level and always positive.
They could be something as simple as, "I love you so much!" or "Good job getting your socks today!"

In most cases this will build your relationship as well as make them eager to read something. They may even write you a note back.

The directors of PEERS love sharing anything that will help parents more easily be involved in their child's education and feel successful as a parent of a school aged child. We have all felt the struggle and found successes along the way that we want to share with you!
